Smile for mum ... bruised and bandaged Lola looks pleased to be home

RELIEVED mum Pauline Koupparis gives daughter Lola a kiss yesterday as the baby leaves hospital after her horrific fox attack ordeal.

Bite marks and bruises were clearly visible on little Lola's face, and her arm was bandaged from where the animal tried to drag her from her cot.

But nine-month-old Lola still gave her mum a smile as she was carried into the family home.

Arriving home by taxi, Pauline, 41, said: "She's doing fine. I'm ecstatic. We've gone through every emotion imaginable."

Lola left the Royal London Hospital six days after a fox sneaked into the family's home and savaged her as she slept. Twin sister Isabella, who suffered arm injuries in the attack, left Great Ormond Street Hospital in central London around the same time.

Dad Nick was with her as she was placed in an ambulance and taken back to the Royal London Hospital to continue treatment.

Mum Pauline later left her home to be at Isabella's bedside. She said: "I'm thrilled to have Lola home, words can't explain how happy I feel. Lola is really well and happy to be home.

"I have no idea when Isabella will be coming home, but I cuddled her last night. She's heading in the right direction."

Earlier, a pest control expert killed a FOURTH fox found prowling in the garden of the family's £850,000 townhouse in Hackney, East London.

A police support officer remained on guard outside the house last night.

The pictures of Lola yesterday show for the first time the horrific wounds caused by the fox.

The youngster, wearing a blue summer dress, is covered in puncture marks on the right side of her face, while her eye is brown and bruised.

The bandage covering the length of her arm also indicated the severity of the attack.
